MIS ON LABORI TEEMANT?


Keemiliste, füüsikaliste ja optiliste omaduste poolest on labori teemant (Lab Grown- ehk LG-Diamond) identne maapõuest kaevandatud teemandiga. Ehk siis tegemist ei ole teemanti erimi, simulandi või sünteetilise teemandiga vaid SEE ON TEEMANT. Kui maapõues teemantide kaevandamine jätab üsna tuntava jälje keskkonnale ja ühiskonnale siis labori teemantide valmimine  süsinikust kristalliseerumisprotsessis laboritingimustes on see kordades väiksem. Laboris jäljendatakse maa sees toimunud looduslikku protsessi.

MIKS LABORI TEEMANT?

Nagu loodulike teemantide puhul saab ka labori teemanteid valida samade hindamiskriteeriumide järgi. 4C – värvus, puhtus (selgus), lõige ja karaat (kaal) ning ka kõik ülejäänud hindamiskriteeriumid (Cut Grade, Polish, Symmetry) on labori teemandi puuhul täpselt samad.

Peamine põhjus on KESKKONNA JÄLG JA HIND. Nagu looduslikud teemantid, toome ka labori teemantid otse „esimese käe“ lihvijatelt ning seetõttu on meie hinnad konkurentsitud. Sõltuvalt kivide suurusest ja näitajatest saame pakkuda labori teemantide hindu, mis jäävad looduslikest teemantidest 50 – 60 % madalamale ja enamgi. Meil on enam kui 30 aastane kogemus Eesti juveeliturul ning oleme pälvinud Eesti tarbija usalduse. Kuna tavaostjal on keeruline lasta eristada looduslikku ja labori teemandit siis on soovitav vältida kaubanduskeskustes valitsevat virr-varri ning leida just usaldusväärne müüja!

KAS LABORI TEEMANTID ON SERTIFITSEERITUD?

Kõik üle 0,50 karaadi labori teemantid on sõltumatu rahvusvahelise gemmoloogia laboratooriumi sertifikaadiga (IGI, GIA või HRD). Ka Eestis on võimalik lasta määrata, kas teemant on looduslik või labori teemant. Ajapikku neid labori seadmeid tekib juurde, kuid üks pikemaajalisem hindamiskogemus on Eesti metroloogia keskasutuses Metrosert AS, kus asub ka väärismetallide ja vääriskivide katselabor.
